Dick played an April Fools joke live on TV on a World News Now anchor, using a car battery, which turns out to be the Interstate Car Battery (which Dick covers in Episode 160). Listen to the full story in Episode 13.
Dumb Gadgets
No gadgets are too dumb to find a buyer. Dick used to do a Dumb Gadgets section on Regis but there was always someone who loved what was on show. Dick once did a mail order rip-off on Regis, about some "designer mirrors" which turned out to be miniature ones. Mail came in asking Dick where to get them.
