The Sony Reader is about the size of a paperback, just under 7" x 5" x 1/2". It has 64MB internal memory which holds hundreds of books. It uses a new technology called E-Ink which uses electrical power only to load up the page but once it is loaded, it uses no further energy. One battery charge can last 7,500 page turns. The font size is adjustable. The page display is black against a slightly grey background, and so the contrast is not as good as it could be. You can download books from Sony's CONNECT eBooks. The Reader is also compatible with other eBooks and PDFs although the formatting may not always be displayed accurately. The Toothpick Bird ?!!
Michael Hopkins thinks the Toothpick Bird (Episode 282) smells like a one-month old salami. Steve from Denver who commutes to and from work every day thinks it was the best episode ever.
