These NiMH batteries from Duracell come pre-charged so that you can start using them immediately. Unlike most NiMH batteries, these AAA or AA batteries retain the battery power for a year (which is why they can come pre-charged).Dick also recommends the fast Duracell Power Gauge Battery Charger Kit which is a charger for AAA and AA-size NiMH batteries. It also has a USB adapter for charging your USB devices directly.
