All the way back from 1957, this Eumig P8 Phonomat Projector allowed you to add and synchronise sound to your 8mm film. The website at http://www.marriottworld.com/pieces/pieces25.htm has a history of these projectors. The pictures below are of a slightly later model, the P8M.Dick's Home Movies
Dick made home movies which were take-offs of "How the West was Won" and "42nd Street", starring Match Game guests, Kitty Carlisle, Bennett Cerf, Henry Morgan, Gene Rayburn, Peggy Cass. They went the whole hog with a black tie world premiere, a newspaper review by Dorothy Kilgallen, a helicopter, 1930s limosines. Listen to Dick's wild stories.
