The Digi-Vina will not be officially announced till 3rd April, but Dick is stealing a march with a nudge, nudge, wink, wink from the company's PR. The Digi-Vina is a vinyl record press for the home. Previously home vinyl cutters have been available but they tend to be very expensive and strictly for the enthusiasts. The Digi-Vina is going to sell for $999, and what's more, it comes with a recycling unit that uses plastic bottles to produce vinyl blanks, with the help of a blacking agent, before they are cut. The Digi-Vina has connections for USB drives or devices such as the iPod as the input source, which will be processed in the main unit and converted back to good old analogue. A portable version is also in the works, expected for the holiday season later this year. The Return of the Jingle Singers
The Original Letters Jingle is played today. How we've missed it!
An Offbeat Question
Tony and Jenny Bassett from Warren, Michigan have a offbeat question for Dick and Leo. They've been listening to Paul Minshall's Audible Theme, but wonder what the last line is. Is it "We love climbing on my cow"? Paul is in the chatroom, who can confirm that it's "I love my platinum account."
