magicJackAfter a listener wrote in about the magicJack in Episode 471, Dick is now able to review it. It's a USB dongle which you can plug into any USB port of any computer, and you will be able to make regular telephone calls. You can use the microphone on the computer, or connect a telephone jack to the back of the device. Compatible with both PC and Mac. It does require a paid subscription, but you can use it anywhere, not just your home, and you get your own telephone number.
