The HDC-SD5 is a 3-CCD, High Definition (1920 x 1080) camcorder which uses MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression and records 16:9 video and pictures on to an SD card. Leica lens, 10x optical zoom (42.9 - 429 mm in 35mm film equivalent). Optical image stabilisation. The previous model, HDC-SD1, records at a lower resolution of 1440 x 1080 but has larger CCDs which may perform better in low light.Pepcom
